Hasan Piker is begging Democrats to get angry and fight Trump

That's just not how politics works in the US. Politics is a career, or in many cases a stepping stone to a career. They're not there to fight anyone, they're there to achieve their personal ambitions. They're not ideological warriors, they're white collar elites. They don't necessarily have any ideological commitments, and as such they will simply adopt whatever the ideological paradigm is at any given time.
I don't expect any politician to fight Trump, if doing so means compromising their career ambitions. If there's going to be a fight, it has to be fought by the people, not the politicians.

Im so tired of this Rollercoaster that Ive stopped caring about the macro. If our system can't be saved from its designed structure of checks and balances then maybe it doesnt deserve to last.

  You need two things to get a political movement going. First you need to reach a critical mass by creating public sympathy for your movement. This can almost only be done with peaceful protests like MLK. Violent resistance is too easy to demonize and shut down when people do not sympathize with your cause.
  Then the critical mass needs to be turned into action, which is what Malcolm X did.
  If you start off the movement too radically, it will never be able to reach critical mass.

  I’m not saying don’t but you don’t have much to actually do anything with. Protesting and civil disobedience I would think a lot the best options and it doesn’t seem like people have an appetite for those at scale.
  
  The issues are that 1.) It never seems to accomplish much beyond getting some poor protesters killed by inept cops that never got training on how to use beanbag or rubber rounds, and 2.) The US is a BIG place. We can’t all just take a day off in the middle of the week to fly across the country. We’re broke and tired, trying to make rent, not waste a few hundred precious dollars to potentially get killed for saying the wrong thing.
  Now I get it, this is absolutely the time to be protesting. Now more than ever. But man, I’m tired. I’m broke. I’m lucky to have enough gas to make it to work. I can’t pick up and go to DC whenever.
