This is Public Relations from a billion dollar+ corporation known as the catholic church. Nothing more.
They still cover up for rapist priests. They still spew hate from their holy hate book. Still anti LGBT. Still want to force your children into their bullshit hate religion. Still interferes in your politics to make sure you don't have a say.
