Going to the grocery store or the gym is faster by foot then by car.

Yeah if you go there to run on a threadmill, not if you go there to lift weights. After a heavy squat day I can barely walk down the stairs to the parking lot.

My motto while I was living in an urban area. I found that I could ride my bike right up to in front of my office window after cutting a little brush on the building corner and from that day on I'd do that, knock on the window and climb right into my office chair from my bike saddle if a coworker was already there. Most satisfying parking situation in my professional life so far.

Because the grocery store is so close to my house that grabbing my bike from the shed an parking it at the store feels like more effort than walking there

Because I like freedom to park almost anywhere and outdoors. I also don't like being a danger for everyone around me.

Not always somewhere at my destination where I can safely lock my bike to prevent it being stolen.
