Rules for Portable Batteries on Planes Are Changing. Here’s What to Know.
Some airlines in Asia are tightening restrictions. You may have to repack or turn off your batteries before boarding flights with certain carriers.

It seems like the most practical way to approach this as an airline passenger is to place your battery into superposition where the battery can be both within arm's reach, but also stowed away. Warning, do not observer or interact with the battery while the flight is in the air lest you collapse the waveform and lose superposition.

and check if your airline allow you to use power bank during the flight and this is quite problematic for someone who want to work or play games during long flight. For now, only Cathay allows you to use it.
