I saw this around the time it was first released. One of the most memorable cartoons I have ever seen, I think. Excellent.
I remember borrowing it from the library back then (well, a few years later anyway), it still sticks in my mind!
This is an important part of Canadian history. Also, "Stop Sawing" has become a meme between my dad and I.
The sawing is so funny. Especially when he does it secretly. That's my favorite part.

This plus The Cat Came Back are pretty core memories for me. Used to air these on the pay tv channels at the time I believe.
