Absolutely hated the psychopathic children in the school episode. I went back to rewatch it. And it completely lost me there.
Also, how absolutely brain dead some of the characters are when trying to survive. I get it, you're in a panic due to being chased by a zombie. But sometimes man..... Some of the things they do is absolutely mind numbing. It's like a majority of the characters are complete bumbling idiots.
In general, I enjoyed it. But at times I was beating my head against a wall.
Yeah, I suppose most people would be bumbling idiots the first few days, but after that the survivors should be laser focused.
Big plot holes, but enjoyable in a world war z (book) kinda way
Season 2 - Episode 6 -
5 people find a box filled with boxes filled with food and medical supplies. They try to move the entire big box across a valley. They come upon a incline they struggle with.... instead of taking the smaller boxes out of the big box and move them up the hill in manageable loads... they insist on doing the big box all at once... it crashes and kills two of them.
It's literally a box of boxes!
The smaller boxes even have handles for easy carrying!
If this is the one I think it is, I rememeber being pleasantly surprised at how good the 1st season was given how goofy Z Nation got.
The 2nd season sucked to me though. It was dumb and not in a fun way.
My wife and I loved the campiness of the show this is a spinoff from, Z Nation. It's silly, but it was a fun alternative to the super successful Walking Dead at the time.
Wait, its by The Asylum (from such masterpieces as Transmorphers and Triassic World), but it doesn't suck?
Oh it sucks, but it's a classy call girl suck rather than a back alley suck.
