Kansas faces largest tuberculosis outbreak in US history: Health officials
Kansas is currently facing one the largest tuberculosis outbreaks in U.S. history with 67 confirmed active cases and 79 confirmed latent cases.
I think the word recorded is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, because TB used to infect something like 70% of the urban population in the US.

Apparently they've been monitoring this cluster for years, and this many cases is typical for a major city metro area. One of my friends works in public health, specifically TB, and this is basically the baseline.
The first world paint job is cracking if it's not already fully off.
