  • Next time someone complains about us not having the killer instinct with which the top teams win matches, they shall be forced to watch the second half of the Wolves match and write a paper on it.

  • Wow. Even former spud Jamie O' Hara, who despises us and looks for any excuse to criticize us, thinks MLS should not have been sent off!

  • So, Darren England has been stood down previously for a fuck up whilst in VAR.

People make mistakes, I know I've made plenty, but he has the benefit of replays and time in this situation. He could even call refs to the monitors to review certain decisions. There are cunting 4+ officials to talk over the incident (although linesman would have a limited view) and some of them have the aforementioned capabilities.

That being said, after all the bullshit of this season (as well as other stuff going on in life) my patience and optimism are wearing thin. We have the most red cards this season with 4; 3 of them being bullshit.

The officiating today was once again dogshit, yet this is the "top" football league in the world.

It half makes me wonder if they purposefully use shit refs just to add to the controversy to boost viewership.

    • The Saliba one is bullshit too, given how many similar "DOGSO" incidents that were worse happened without a red.

      • Unfortunately, you can't argue an appeal using incidents from other matches, I think. You have to argue that the ref got the individual decision wrong. That being said, the PGMOL are the police of English football. They want all the power, no accountability, no oversight, and all of the sympathy for the difficulty of their jobs.
