Where has the post (As in media not WashingtonPost) gone, where back in the day, a president demanded a cartoonist be sacked for depicting him as a parrot, (Just parroting others) saying they cant portray him as an animal, and threatened the publishers,
in response most political cartoonist purposely drew him as an animal and publisher said, tldr, "Just try and fight us"?
Do I agree with every political cartoonist depictions, no.
Do I think they should be allowed to be as they are, the jesters of print, bringing jest to pressing thoughts or concerns?

Everyone understands this, I think the problem is that now people just make angry posts like this and vent some steam and feel accomplished enough to where you'll never actually follow through with this criticism.
You're hitting the nail right on the head, tons of people understand and agree with you but what is being done? Not by others but by you and people like you?
Why would there ever be change? Of course the rich just do what they want, all they get back is a tiny scream into a void that doesn't matter, at all.
I agree with you, but what exactly are we supposed to do? This is why Luigi has had such a positive reaction online despite the brutality of what he did, it actually had an impact…but the vast majority of people aren’t killers yet civil actions have not been working. We are all stuck.

Keep backing people into a the corner of poverty, homelessness, hunger and helplessness and that will eventually change.
The majority of Americans bought the bullshit of cheap gas and eggs, lock, stock and barrel. Wait until they find out.
You don't have to kill people. Do something, anything. Don't just sit at home. Start working on issues as local as you can, educate yourself, start shit... You're the epitomy of "I tried nothing and nothing worked". You believe that writing a message online is the only way to change things.
This attitude is incredibly naive and the reason why nothing has actually changed. You think stirring shit at your local city council does anything? You think you can actually convince anyone to do anything else? The system is way more powerful than you and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Do what you think is best but do something, don't just write stuff online and feel like you've accomplished something.
My feeling, and I've posted about before, is that the progressive wing doesn't have a leader that inspires people to take action. Bernie and AOC are pretty much the only two that have any national recognition but they are playing the game from inside. I truly believe that for the progressive side to actually make inroads and to have the power to hold the right-wing and corporate democrats accountable they need a very intelligent brash leader. Some one that can fire up the base and get people to want to do more than vent some steam online.
But until that person comes into reality, the progressives will just be a bunch of squawking angry individuals blowing steam off online and being continually ignored by the rest of the political spectrum and the national media.
Ignore that guy, he's just as ineffective as the argument he's calling out.

My city voted in a mayor who was caught 4 months prior drunk behind the wheel with his neice in the back seat. They also voted (about 93%) for a lieutenant governor who said he wants to put interracial marriage laws "back to the states". The grassroots movements have failed time and again here, and the population has no interest in changing.
I'm not saying don't try, but giving half assed "get organizef" advice is the same as people complaining, it gives no tangible assistance and makes YOU feel like you're working to resolve the problems. Where's your volunteer group? Did you canvas this year? The answer for a majority of people has been 'No', so instead of complaining about people complaining, maybe try redirecting to legitimate strategies or at the very least show some compassion for others' plights. People complaining isn't leading to less action, the powers that be have stacked the deck so hard in their favor that the common man is running out of methods to fight it.
Protests are being silenced, they're calling in the cops before anythings been done and then violence escalates immediately. YES other protests have been met with violence, but at this stage in the American system the average person is a paycheck or two away from being homeless and you expect them to put themselves in a position that can and WILL result in jail time? Black Lives Matter over here had a kid lose an eye from the dipshit cops' tear gas canisters pointed right at his noggin', you think people are as inclined to come out and show support when that's what's to be expected?
I'm not saying don't go out and participate. I'm donating locally. Trying to find political groups i can spend maybe an hour or two participating in a week (so far, no one feels safe enough or that there's enough support..so, college groups is all we've got), but mostly, I'm just trying to get the fuck out of the craziest places and move somewhere sensible where me and my partner's rights aren't up for debate. And I've seen plenty of people who post with the tone that you did above say that leaving is "part of the problem" and that we'd leave the state with less sensible voters.
It doesn't matter man, you're not doing anything. Just another post about some hypothetical scenario that'll never be a reality. See what I mean? You have to stop thinking this way.
