Leader of Canada's House of Commons apologizes for honoring man who fought for Nazis

The speaker of Canada’s House of Commons is apologizing for recognizing in Parliament a man who fought for a Nazi military unit during World War II.

“In my remarks following the address of the President of Ukraine, I recognized an individual in the gallery. I have subsequently become aware of more information which causes me to regret my decision to do so,” Rota said in a statement.

I don't believe this one bit. Canada in general is extremely cozy with Banderites. There are memorial monuments for them and their deputy PM's grandfather was a Banderite too, a fact that she is wholeheartedly unapologetic about.
- Canada admitting a bunch of Nazis, partly based on the fact that they were Nazis, was covered by mainstream media 25 years ago.

Anti-Russian sentiment is so normalized they’ll celebrate anyone who kills them, even if they’re a Nazi.
