What exactly are potato waffles and what is the preferred method if consumption?

  That's what I thought. I'm trying really hard not to be offended right now rôfl
- Ever since the first time I saw a box labeled "potato waffles," I thought they were basically hash browns, but I just looked it up and apparently this is the source of some controversy.
  
  So to answer your question ... They are either hash browns or not hash browns. Probably they are consumed in a manner similar to hash browns.
