I already read something about Ontario having to compensate the land developers for lost profit.
@Rumblestiltskin @voidavoid See? Ontarians will foot the bill, developers still get rich. There's no way to truly win.
Surely they would only have had a "reasonable expectation of profit" if they were assured the land would be rezoned when they bought it? If, as Ford insists, there was no advanced telling, it should be all on them not taxpayers.
Hope they have receipts for their donations to Dofo's stag and doe.
