  OP. It’s time to have a clear plastic flag with white for the Romulan empire made and placed at the edge of your property.

I want to live in this neighborhood so badly. If anyone can get me into a rental in that neighborhood, I will fly the flag of Bajor!
- You may be in a neighborhood like that already! You just need to be the first to fly the flag.
  
  My nearest neighbor is a km/half a mile away, and she has no interest in star trek. The only flag she flies has MAGA on it :(

The only problem with the Klingon flag is that when you first glance it from a distance, well...
- True story. Flew our Klingon flag... neighbors thought it was a nazi flag. Had to explain..."no, no, we are not Nazis (I'm actually Jewish). We are just really big geeks." Yeah...that was the last time we flew that one.

  Yep. Our friends flew one for a 4th of July party and one of the party guests took them aside and explained what it looked like to a casual observer.

- If it ever fell. They're the sneakiest of the main species, I wouldn't put it past them to have a foundation caste. Ie. One empire on this side of the galaxy one on the other side with a underlying society to sorta regulate interactions.

Neighbor next door is a Romulan flag, you just can't see it.
Crappy house down the street with the Camaro on cinder blocks and beer cans all over the lawn has a Cardassian flag.

I wish I had cool (uncool?) neighbors like that. Mine just never trim their encroaching hedges, and generally seem friendly but slightly ominous - like cardassians or romulans, come to think of it.
- Cardassians would have slaves to trim the hedges tho
