When the boss has 30,000 HP and you have 1000 it's a bit of an issue.
And then they join your party and they're just average... Looking at your Magus...
Surprisingly Magus stats are already trash as a boss. He's generally regarded as one of the easier bosses for that reason.
Maybe you crippled them. Think about that.
