17 0 ReplyWait...is this the Kadokawa that owns like 85% of anime studios in Japan as well??
11 0 ReplyYep. This is a much, much bigger deal than just a few game studios.
7 0 ReplyThese motherfuckers already own Crunchyroll and now want ownership on the largest production studio for animation in the country!?

More than just that, they are big novel publishers, they own spike chunsoft, hell they even have their hands in tourism and some science labs! Idk the broader culture of Sony, but experience with their gaming branch says this will be the disaster of our times for otaku.

Sony seems to have a pretty workable strategy now.
- Want to acquire a company for cheaper.
- Make news that they are going to acquire.
- Target company's sales plummet, because gamers don't want Sony DRM
- Cheap company to buy.
So unless FromSoftware releases a statement claiming they won't be bought by Sony, I'm not buying any more of their stuff.
10 0 ReplyStock went up by 700 JPY with a 22% increase. Did the opposite
2 0 ReplySo could it be that FromSoftware is considering selling out and working to increase their stock prices, to get a better deal?
