He didn’t get away with anything. He was indirectly pardoned by half of the US voters.
- Because the Supreme Court was wholly captured by fascists. He should not be able to assume office given his insurrection.
- Yeah I personally believe in democracy having the power to change every law and conviction. As long as there's a reasonable and fair process, it's the source of justification for the government and laws.
