Weird thing I've noticed about all the P. Diddy stuff...

Everyone just seems to be talking about how he had freaky sex orgies. Which I find weird. I haven't looked into it but I assume there was like... actual sex crimes going on at these parties. But people just joke about the baby oil shit.

Thing is I wouldn't really give a fuck if he was have orgies with heavy baby oil usage if everyone involved was a consenting adult. Fuck, if that was the case I'd probably be COMMENDING Diddy.

- I remember that from when I was a kid. At the time i absorbed the brutal and sexist treatment of Ms. Lewinsky and didn't have enough context or maturity to understand what was happening. All I knew was all the adults were joking about her, talking about blowjobs, and that the president was on trial for a long time.
  Much later I encountered some of Ms Lewinski's work and re-visited the events and realized how disgusting it all was. A young woman taken advantage of by her boss then exposed and shamed in front of the entire world as part of a callous political play by some of the most loathsome people on the planet. And it was largely treated as good fun and a problem for the president with little interest expressed in the treatment of the young Ms. Lewinsky.
the "memefication" of the whole thing makes me feel really gross. not seen it on here but I've been trying to call it out when I can because obviously it's just contributing toremoved culture. human trafficking andremoved are in the equation here. seeing men say free Diddy "ironically" is fucking sick. there's also an aspect where some people are acting like his greatest crime is having sex with men... grimly predictable stuff under patriarchy but still awful to have to see. seems like the kids are all over this shit too which is just sad.

  I'm trying to remember the lore on the "trump piss tape". I want to say one of the sketchy journos laundering Russiagate came up with it.
  I remember it being a popular joke on the dirtbag left because of it's absurdity. Trump is hygeine conscious if not actually germaphobic and a deeply unimaginative person so the idea of him having a watersports fetish was clearly ridiculous. The contradiction, combined with an opportunity to skewer the most loathsome man on the planet, was used to mock both trump and the people who spread and believed the rumors.

I thought the baby oil thing was to emphasize how it was just part of his standard proceedings to sex crime people (which, since it seems unclear by your post, he did actually do) in the same manner as a director having a couch in his office.
Most of coworkers are young straight men and one thing I can tell you is that "no diddy" is the new "no homo"
The way people drop his name into stuff apropo of nothing is weird in of itself, but never thought much of the larger social implications other than I don't like it.
i used to work with a guy who would constantly reference r kelly peeing on people. the lasting lesson people learned from that incident is "r kelly like pee sex and that is funny cause its weird"
except the person he peed on was like a 14 year old? and he videotaped it? wild that the takeaway there wasn't "r kelly is aremoved" but i guess that's much less weird for a celeb to be aremoved than a golden shower enthusiast
