I want to say I had the AB partitioning unlike the Google Pixel 1 or Nexus 6P or something like that. It's been a long time ago and I don't even want to think of not having them anymore. The fact that they waited this long to adopt it just seems kind of dumb.

Custom ROMs are getting security patches ASAP and they are not considered "sECUre" while Xiaomi devices that have to been updated for years are still considered as safe by Play Integrity...
