Kamala Harris signals she'll go further than Biden on marijuana legalization
Kamala Harris has historically supported marijuana legalization but hadn't clarified her stance since launching her presidential campaign.
Worth noting that what she said more than just hinting like the headline suggests. She's directly stating it should be legalized
"We have come to a point where we have to understand that we need to legalize it and stop criminalizing this behavior," Harris said on an episode of the "All the Smoke" podcast released on Monday
Also worth noting that as senator she also co-sponsored legalization in 2018 that would've fully legalized weed

We need a robust addiction support network to go along with that, but, yes: illegalizing drugs causes more problems than it solves. Legally regulated and sold drugs ensure quality and provide confidence that what the consumer is getting (and ingesting) is what they think it is.
