So do you believe in the science that cis straight men generally date and marry women with similar features to their mom?

i was just reading about it, its interesting freudian for sure.

Just on gut instinct I bet there's something screwy with any attempt to scientifically define and quantify "features" in a woman, or any person for that matter.

With my sample size of 1, no.

Well I ain't like that so I dunno
I do have a fair bit in common with my husband's mom, but none of his exes look or act like me and I pursued him, so I'm pretty confident he wasn't seeking that out
I haven't been married and I don't want to be, but from my experience as a cishet guy dating women and having long-term girlfriends: Hell fucking no.
My partner looks nothing like my mom, not even close. But personally wise, I married my dad.
