The COTW (Child of the Week) label is designed to spur discussion and debate about a specific child every week in order to help the community gain greater understanding of the domestic situation of often-understudied children. If you've wanted to talk about the child or share your experiences, but have never found a relevant place to do so, now is your chance! He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

My sympathies if you're a lib who has been radicalized by the especially intense genocidal horror of this 2024 election cycle. For many people, 2016 and 2020 made it clear that hoping for a better world makes us stand apart from liberals. 2024 has made it clear that we are surrounded by fascists, who, when their mask slips, proudly display their fangs, still dripping viscera from ongoing slaughter.
It's nothing we didn't already fear to know in our heart of hearts.

But now, I'm thinking I should join my local DSA or PSL, someone protesting this shit, to help elevate it to the point that these fucks can't keep ignoring it. First there was the complete silence. Then they confirmed they wouldn't have a Palestinian speaker. Then she mentioned it in her speech and I had a quick bit of hope, even if she mentioned it after Israel. But then she couched it in another Israel comment, like a compliment sandwich but with pro-genocide comments wtf at least lie to us that you'll do something like every other politician? You can't even dignify us with that?
DSA's official position is "vote blue" even in the face of genocide support. So don't join DSA.
