At least it isn't owned by The Church of Scientology anymore.

  the guy who bought it off the original founders was a scientologist and typical C-suite scumbag.
  
  the only cult influencing neopets was capitalism. who doesn’t love shoving two ads in every hole.

It started putting out a newsletter a couple years ago or so.

- I'm pretty sure the games are still there but in HTML5 now, I remember logging in again a couple of years back and they were there at least.
