Getting shot doesn't kill the asshole in you. Trump is still bringing Project 2025. Dems should be saying "Call for violence, and it answers" instead of kissing ass.
Turns out pretending to be an opposition party is wildly profitable. What other job is there where you can work four months out of the year, make millions, and all you have to do is just make a few promises to your district's peons and then claim you're powerless to fulfill them?
That sounds like a winning attitude, bud. If we all voted for a willing candidate, they win. Thats it. So go vote and it doesn't matter if they're tepid bitches. We still beat Project 2025. Chin up, ranked choice is next after this.
I have been around the world and I talk to a lot of people.
I haven't even met anyone cool, let alone anyone awesome who knows anything about Trump who likes him.
Abroad, they like trump because "he is rich right?", "he stopped the Muslims? Immigration is poison" or "very funny, very funny guy" and then show me a photoshopped picture of trrmp's head on an oiled muscleman body and laugh wildly for 3 minutes.
"You don't get it? It's funny. He is good. Strong. I love this picture!"
Alright, but like, what the fuck is this post? We saw Trump incite a coup attempt. Even if this Sticker Mule guy hates all of humanity and is trying to lead it to its demise, why would he go all the way into the opposite direction and pretend Trump is all about rainbows and happiness and friendship? Political hate has been part of Trump's platform since day one. You don't exactly support Trump by saying we should stop doing political hatred.
They mean stop doing political hatred against us. They mean stop making them scared like we've been scared of them all this time. They don't like that this has become real for them, the thing they created. It was all fun and games when it was all hypothetical and pretend, but now its really happening and its not as fun for them as they thought.
This is the thing they left tried to prevent. This was the stuff the left said they wanted to lower the temperature about back in 2015 when Trump announced his candidacy. Now that its happening though, it's the people who said they wanted it who don't like it the most.
I just followed their instructions to delete my account, citing their CEO's unprofessional use of their mailing list, and my resulting discomfort with them having my mailing address. You may want to consider doing the same.
Kinda reminds me of The Specials' Racist Friend tune, "So if you know a racist who thinks he is your friend
Now is the time, now is the time for your friendship to end"
How obtuse is this guy. Throughout history being a political official of any variety has always carried an inherent danger. Be the threats external or domestic, chiefs, kings, emperors, presidents, prime ministers, legislators, governors, lords, etc. have all faced existential threat just for the fact that they are in a position of power. Just ask Julius Caesar, or the French bourgeoisie for their take on positions of power being safe. The illusion of safety is just an artifact of the fact that overall the world has been becoming safer over the last 200 years or so. Even still, 7/46 current or past presidents of the US have been killed or injured by gunmen since the inception of the office. That is 15% of all US presidents. I'd call that a pretty dangerous occupation. The best comparison I have is workplace fatalities. There have been 4/46 presidents assassinated in office. That is ~8.6%. The highest mortality job that is reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics is a roofer, with ~57.5/100,000 or 0.0575%.
Minor abuses of statistics aside, being the POTUS is, and always has been, a dangerous occupation.
You also need to consider someone is president for only 8 years maximum, meaning you can't compare directly with other job mortality statistics, unless you filter for time in position.
That means it's even more dangerous to be president than the above statistics might seem.
Very true. Though the average career length of a roofer is relatively short due to the strain on the body. So they are not completely incomparable. Also, the statistics from BLS are fatalities per 100,000 per year, so the stats are still not directly compatible as the units are not normalized against each other. I would need the statistical average over the last 250 years to normalize properly, but I did call myself out for abusing statistics in my post. It is good enough for conversational comparison, and more than good enough for shutting down some trash victim complex Magasshole like this guy.
Ya, I really love "kind-hearted, compassionate people" who support forcing raped teenage girls to have babies. Because that is what Trump stands for. In fact, it's pretty credible that he raped one himself at Epstein's compound. Those idiots have no clue what kind-hearted or compassionate means.
Ya, I really love “kind-hearted, compassionate people” who support forcing raped teenage girls to have babies.
To quote his "moderate" VP, Ohio's own self-professed Hillbilly JD Vance, "Two wrongs don't make a right". Which isn't a reference to nine months of trauma by the rape victim ending with a newborn dumped in a ditch, while the state turns its back. No. We're talking about the "wrongness" of emergency contraception, folks.
So weird to be alive in a time where I had to stop buying hot sauce from a sticker company because the dude behind it turned out to be a fascist idiot...
They sent a link to this post to everyone who was subscribed to the deals and offers text alerts thing. I can’t imagine a better way to push away customers. My business has already switched over entirely to stickerapp, they’ve got better rates anyhow.
Wait, does Trumper have a notable intentional liking?
Not head of states and of megacorps, like of regular folk?
(Genuinely curious ... eg. I assume countries that USA overbombed to oblivion would generally support something/anything completely different or with a chance to be different?)
I know a lot of Russians support trump because during his presidency he mainly focused on ruining his own country rather than try to make things more difficult for Russia. Before Trump there was Obama, who enacted all kinds of sanctions on Russia, which made him less popular
Yeah, sounds right - all those sanctions mainly hit regular people with hindered access to some v global goods.
Afaik industry didn't suffer all that much (comparably), maybe ironworks the most (but temporary), with financial industry (banks) barely suffering at all (besides local market valuations), even with like a thousand different sanctions and blockades.
Agreed. Political violence is wrong, but honestly I don't think Trump should be surprised that people are trying to kill him after his politics killed and endangered so many vulnerable groups in America and other countries. For example, it somehow feels fair that he's afraid for his life the same way that trans people in america feel afraid for their lives after all of the anti-trans rhetoric that the trump administration has been enforcing, idk if you agree tho.
I LOVE when the Sticker Mule guy said the same thing after Sandy Hook or when Trump told his followers to Shoot Hilary Clinton or after Pulse Nightclub!
It's funny that saying "what has happened was deplorable" is such a controversional statement here. You don't realize when you have gone so far in one direction that you looped back into being fascist yourself.
People should watch Hotel Rwanda. Or go to the Holocaust Museum. Or just read any fucking history book. We are alive with rights today because people killed fascists and said "fuck that, we are all worthy of respect." We dont walk away from that now just because the fascists can make an internet post of sympathy. We dont stop because its scary, fuck yeah it is. We stop once we've planted a field of daisies that our children have the freedom to stop and smell.
Yeah it does. Because you will be killing "fascists" till your vision of the world appears and anyone in the way will be branded a fascist. Killing makes you a bad person, regardless of who you are killing. If you don't realize that, then there is no saving you.
If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.
It wasn't deplorable, though. It was unfortunate, certainly. Bro felt rushed because the police were closing in on him, so he couldn't do a great job aiming. It's sad, but you can't really fault him for doing his best. Personally, I commend the little guy. What he did took a lot of courage.
