I think the issue is that none of those run up to mid thigh, lol. :)
I don't think they're implying that he is wearing those, it's just a reference photo for anyone who doesn't know what spatz are.
My issue was not knowing what they were in the first place.
Yeah I had always assumed they were socks worn inside the shoes but now I have to accept that such a weird piece of clothing exists
I have to admit, I thought I knew what they were, but I thought they were part of the shoe, not a separate piece.
