A grift in broad daylight.
The "requirements":
- a Bible that is bound by leather or material like leather
- has the Pledge of Allegiance, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights
- is the New King James version of the Old and New Testament
- has no commentary

Why does a bible need these things?
81 1 ReplyBecause Trump's version has these things
103 0 ReplyThat still doesn’t explain it
5 23 ReplyThe rules are written explicitly to cater to Trump's edition so they will be forced to buy only Trump's edition. Meaning they can now fund Trump's nazi grift using Oklahoma taxpayer funds legally.
71 0 ReplyIt's a way to funnel public money directly to Trump and his campaign.
63 0 ReplyThe school boards are run by republicans

Conservatives want a collection of things they won't read or ban. This sums it up.
17 0 ReplyThey’re putting these in schools to try to tear down the separation of church and state.
It fits two purposes:
- grift for Trump payments with state funds
- keeping kids dumb so they stay republican later

I’d respect it more if it was just said right up front, “funding to the god-emperor by stealing from our children’s education.”
20 0 ReplyI guess the satanic temple could print an edition that matches those requirements and undercut Trump by like a dollar.
8 0 ReplyIs there a known beforehand contractor to provide these with a markup? I guess there's a shade of a simple local grift too.
