It's more so that now he's trying to walk back the months of harping on age and mental fitness, since now he's the one that those claims hurt.
There's very few people trump could beat, and he's mad his opponent is no longer one of them
I think the fact that Biden "won" by not playing haunts him. I think he's genuinely incapable of understanding that there's more to the world than "winning" and "losing".
