Where is the best place to keep up with US election results?
  • Open your neobroker app, if Trump won, the market will crash before it made the news.

Stardew Valley - Stardew Valley 1.6.9 Changelog
  • Fixed being able to steal another player’s roommate.

    Was too realistic

  • Trump doesn't rule out banning vaccines if he becomes president: 'I'll make a decision'
  • He said he's only going to be a dictator for his first day. But he has a really long list ready to start ordering right away, he'll not need two days.

  • Patient gamers, what are your favorite OSTs?
  • Minecraft soundtrack never gets old, even 3000 hours later I can still listen to it.

  • Patient gamers, what are your favorite OSTs?
  • Golden Sun GBA soundtrack. Also there are some really nice remixes of the fan community. The game is from 2001 but can be played with Nintendo Switch online subscription. As well as the second game (they are basically one game).

  • Wisconsin restaurant apologizes for serving pizzas contaminated with THC
  • Tell me they are smart enough to officially sell THC pizza now. Please!

  • They don't even read it... I'm getting hiveminded more and more everyday, did my opinions get worse, or is this actually a thing now?
  • It's almost always instantly. Like sometimes second after posting. Then it either snowballs or it goes back into positive. But initially, be it on Lemmy or Reddit it happens. I'm not constantly complaining about China, the handful of times though, it's super obvious. Doesn't happen on other topics.

  • Day 29 of posting screenshots every day, of whatever I've been working on that day, until I run out of content or get bored
  • Me too using signs as ceiling lights now because they also brighten up, but don't suck away all the performance. The devs really got to fix the lamps in game, something is not right on them being so taxing.

  • On Bluesky and enshittification
  • I agree with the text and I think the author got most things right. For the last part, while I see that it diverged from enshittification, it can also be, well, descriptions we used before. Bluesky sounds like the good old tactics of selling customers unnecessary features they don't need nor want. I'm pretty sure that's how they'll get away with it. I also see the whole crypto be shoehorned into the platform as purely optional and "oh look, for using Bluesky and not the competition, you got free crypto" and then design it in such a way that only poweruser have any real benefit from the crypto. Free money. However I see no benefit in Bluesky and will just stay on Lemmy, that's the whole point of the Fediverse.

  • They don't even read it... I'm getting hiveminded more and more everyday, did my opinions get worse, or is this actually a thing now?
  • It's also a lot of bots. They are here too. For example, just say China plus something negative about them, in a thread about China. Easiest downvoted one can get. Make sure it's a fact and not whataboutism, to avoid contaminating the test.

  • Underrated benefit of lemmy is like minded people will tend to join the same instances and if I don't want to interact with those groups I can just filter the whole instance.
  • No, your reasoning, understanding of a topic and way of talking is just dumb. Get rid if that paranoia of everyone bullying you. Don't go into threads of your political opposite and then be surprised to get flogged. Don't brush of everyone disagreeing with you as "they are all the same and equally bad". Stop ignoring authoritarian abusing power and wake up from you fantasy dream world where you believe this doesn't happen. Once you've given up some of your rights, it's really hard to get them back. No one is defending pedo platforms, it's about our lifes and knowledge that these surveillance tools will fuck up normal people. It just takes one stupid vote to get the fascists into power and a whole country can move into a dictatorship. If you fail to see this, your very naiv and need to study more history content.

You're not wrong in criticizing the US, people who look at them objectively should obviously see the many flaws. But as with guns , the US is very patriotic and it's difficult to argue against. But getting someone to realize and fix their own bias is another difficult topic.

  • I've got a spicy take, but desperately want to get it off my chest
  • Picard is destroying, it doesn't add. It should've never been made.

  • Trump surrogate Elon Musk keeps saying Trump will tank the economy
  • Isn't it strange, I thought Trump was going to give Musk a job in the white house, or is Musk just creating a spot for himself and sell himself as the solution? American politics is weird.

  • Microsoft just paused Windows 11 24H2 update for many PCs due to crashes and freezes
  • I'm really amazed by their consistent win11 patch fuckups. I've never seen it in this dimension with win10. Luckily I'm still on win10 and pretty sure I'll get the updates past 2025 somehow.

  • AMD research suggests plans to catch up to Nvidia using neural supersampling and denoising for real-time path tracing
  • Hopefully it's like FSR or Freesync. However after the Nvidia RTX raytracing domination, I wouldn't even be mad if they deliver an AMD exclusive solution.

  • Even the ones that trick you by starting out cheap
  • Gaming used to not be like that, but now a good GPU alone costs 800 to 2500 bucks. Sure you get away with cheaper components but at what cost, you got to be patient gamer to enjoy this endeavor.
