Bluesky sounds like the good old tactics of selling customers unnecessary features they don't need nor want. I'm pretty sure that's how they'll get away with it. I also see the whole crypto be shoehorned into the platform as purely optional and "oh look, for using Bluesky and not the competition, you got free crypto" and then design it in such a way that only poweruser have any real benefit from the crypto. Free money. However I see no benefit in Bluesky and will just stay on Lemmy, that's the whole point of the Fediverse.

You're not wrong in criticizing the US, people who look at them objectively should obviously see the many flaws. But as with guns , the US is very patriotic and it's difficult to argue against. But getting someone to realize and fix their own bias is another difficult topic.

Gaming used to not be like that, but now a good GPU alone costs 800 to 2500 bucks. Sure you get away with cheaper components but at what cost, you got to be patient gamer to enjoy this endeavor.
