I'm asking everyone almost anything
- Would it be better or worse if cross-posts joined their comments from their different communities?
Cross-posting has struck me as a little strange and I think maybe this is a part of it.
Doesn't it benefit larger communities more than smaller ones by keeping the activity in a larger one, since they can comment there rather than go to the smaller community? 🤔
- What have been some of your satisfying group work experiences?

- Does when a piece of fiction media came out influence whether you'll check it out?
Personally I find myself checking out fiction media from all over time.
Original Title: Supposing no technical hurdles to experiencing a piece of fiction media, does when it came out influence whether you check it out?
Original was convoluted as I wanted to try to bypass convos about the technical accessibility of the media (i.e. wouldn't if I had to get a VCR or cassette player to watch/listen to/etc.).
- Wait how far can a community reach with only a few subscribers?
This community may have been a fun mistake in hindsight, unless...?
- Why do people chain post on microblogging platforms rather than link to a blog post?
I'll read long posts in either format, but the fragmented format of chained microblog posts, or threads, is mildly distracting at times.
- Why *do* tech/political news, and politics posts see so many more comments here?
Everyone's opinionated about tech and politics around here, but not entertainment or other subjects as much? What's that about?
- Wait, can we respond to the sidebar?
Hey you, yes you can! Here! Unless you don't want to? What if you're told not to?
