The issue is that 13 is not divisible by anything, so we can't split the year by halves or quarters like we do now.
Many Electron maintainers are Slack employees. They're contributing upstream more than most other companies that use Electron, especially compared to their size.
That has nothing to do with Slack's screen sharing issues. Screen sharing was broken due to Electron bugs and it's fixed in Slack 4.34.
Child poverty increased due to the expiration of the expanded child tax credit passed as a part of the American Rescue Plan. The expanded child tax credit had cut the child poverty level in HALF. Democrats were not able to renew the child tax credit due to opposition from Manchin and Republicans.
The economy is doing well. Hand-wringing over issues that Democrats were not able to address as they did not have enough power in Washington is going to make things worse for everyone.
KDE: we have compositor crash recovery in testing
I've been using GNOME on Wayland for over 5 years and I can't recall it ever crashing. Hangs and freezes, yes, but not a full crash. I guess the fact that users feel the need to track "crash recovery" as a feature is indicative of KDE's stability.
