I hate the Googlopoly too, but it doesn't say you can't use messages, just that you can't use the Google features in the app. Why are you even using Google Messages?
Create an option where, if enabled, a post that has images linked in the text body aren't rendered and instead show up in a gallery like in reddit galleries in boost for reddit
I find the amount of features and having different settings per account overwhelming, that's just my opinion though. I'm sure the dev put a ton of hard work into it.
