Feature Request: Hide Posts

Hoping they can add a hide post gesture like they have the collapse comment gesture. Tried to submit it on GitHub and it kept trying to make it a bug report argh.

Texas is sending asylum seekers to major cities by bus with little notice. A coalition of mayors implement new rules to slow the surge
  • Except that I’m sure to be downvoted into oblivion here like I was on Reddit, I can explain pretty much any part of this process and program for transport as I was the guy that created the whole thing before it was turned into a political tool to subrogate humans. I left Texas and state govt but the way they’re being misled is not being allowed to know the route that they’re being taken on and kept in the dark to try and ensure they all end up at the end city even though the document they sign says they can get off anywhere (which they can) but it won’t work out that way.

  • Greg Abbott faces more backlash as migrant child dies on bus: "Barbaric"
  • I would not call this sufficient testing, but again, there is only so much that can be done and this sort of transport should not even be occurring. I however do know the process in and out.

Having said that, the process is that before letting them on the bus, TDEM does a temperature check for COVID or other ILI symptoms, and also ask the adults if they have any symptoms. There is also a medical review that CBP does prior to even having that release from time in custody.

Once on the bus, there is the driver, and the security guard, neither of which have medical responsibility.

Source: I know the person that created this process very well.

  • What are some of the best purchases of your life?
    1. 2018 Tesla Model S used 12k pre-Elon going full Elon. ($45,725) was a huge purchase and most expensive car ever but gas savings for my 120 mile daily round trip to work saved me over $400/mo.
    2. 12ft trampoline. ($200). Kids love it, wife and I love it. Also shows me I’m getting old when random muscles tweak on me.
    3. Second hand rocking chair from early 1900s ($45). If you haven’t rocked in a chair that was made only for that purpose before it became wholly automated, you should. Can’t figure out if it’s the arc of the rockers or what but it’s more relaxing than the $279ea set of porch rockers we have.

Soooooo guessing the first post should be about Reddit?

Probably any number of comments from /u/spez would fit here.
