  • Yeah that would make sense if there weren’t other options. iPhones are basically the poster child for conspicuous consumption. They’re expensive, flashy, objectively worse than the competition, and have a shadier production chain historically than other brands. Even using an old iPhone is an option that doesn’t contribute to issues caused by global capitalism. These products when properly cared for could last a life time and yet…
