It can be just like you've said. You can also run tailscale directly on the system hosting a service and access it directly over the tailscale network.
Would you prefer the reporter refer to you as a family, company, or building...
The point being made here is that customer is the best noun that the English language has for a reporter to talk about a companies customers. This was never about an electric company referring to people. This is all some made up BS that is completely off topic to the article.
What should the AP have called all the customers of the utility companies other than customers?
Thank you for your support.
As someone currently experiencing power loss in Tampa, i can state that I am not a company. Neither is my mom, who is also a customer of Tampa Electric, a family. Your entire comment thread on here is grabbing at an accurate statement and trying to turn it into something it's not.
I think that, as someone that is directly affected, your comments are more insulting than the article.
You're correct about the problem being flooding. The zones in Hillsborough county that were under evacuation orders were the low lying zones. I'm in one of those houses you speak of right now and Milton is currently about 50 miles away. I feel safe here. I know there may be some damage outside that I'll have to fix, but I would have to do that regardless.
It probably also helps that my house isn't in an evacuation zone, though there are houses in my neighborhood that are.
It's looking like there was more storm surge with Helene. If Milton had hit 10-20 miles north though it would have been a toss up.
A lot of overlap from the flooding, more wind from Milton. I know a few people who have had to gut their houses already from Helene and expect it to flood again this week.
Apparently there were two other homes that were destroyed the same way on Davis Island in Tampa because of flooding from Helene.
It's more of an issue with the HR platforms not being able to read PDF's. It doesn't help opening a PDF outside of the platform you are using for hiring actions
She used to be much more attractive. Look up the picture of her and Donald with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and you can see it.
I would agree with this except that I don't have faith that it won't be leveraged as a way to get out of a whole crapload of taxes. I'm pretty sure that unemployment insurance, and a lot of the federal taxes, are based on wages and not tips. Also what is the limit? Can I pay my friend $50 to mow my lawn and tip him an extra $25,000, just so I can get around the limit for a gift tax? I wouldn't trust a Republican administration to implement this without making it easier for Rick people to avoid paying taxes.
I thought it was JD "Wentworth" Vance...
It still bothers me 30 years later that in the DC vs Marvel, Wolverine beat Lobo... Shouldn't have happened to someone that beat up Superman because a guy at a bar said he couldn't...
Just use Snapraid & MergerFS. No special Hardware required and you don't need to change what is on your disks.
From a quick search: https://perfectmediaserver.com/02-tech-stack/snapraid/
This is how I do it. No striping, normal partitions, different hard drive sizes, pretty easy. This way makes upgrades super easy too. Currently running 76TB mergerfs with 2 14TB Snapraid parity drives.
I know that Pixel 7's and above support it. There are Reddit posts showing they have the feature already. Satellite messaging is just using standard 4G/LTE from Starlink. I wouldn't be surprised if this is only an OS update away for most newer phones.
Looks like it's been available on some android devices for at least a month. I don't know about free though, I think it depends on your carrier. I know T-Mobile has been talking about supporting it using Starlink satellites.

This is the best answer I've seen in this whole thread. You're right that the key is not needed. Microsoft identified your system components and did the original activation based on the hardware you've got on your computer. All you need to do to bring back a licensed copy of Windows is to reinstall it.
New Caledonia is part of France, it's not a different country. If you are a New Caledonian, you are a French citizen.
I get alerts on my Android for an Airtag I keep in my backpack all the time. My phone gives me the option to make the Airtag play a sound.
