I think Reddit will be fine from the exterior. IPO may not go so well. But what really matters is the soul of Reddit died long ago.
Maybe I don't understand but my reputation points always say negative. I did the math myself, i have lots more updoots than dislikes. Am i not understanding reputation maybe?
Reddit has no idea how lucky it is as a platform. I've met and interacted with and learned from some of the most intellectual down to earth people on Reddit. It's a real shame. Hopefully those users will find other platforms and get away from the parasite that Reddit is becoming. And they want to go public? Need a new CEO.
For real. We run windows server R 2008 or something at work, never update it. Works like a dream with our other less ancient servers
