  • They didn't, but it's a bit of an optical illusion, because the reel doesn't extend quite to the end of the combine header. You can see the point of the header around the grain cart, there's no strip missing behind them, and it's being steered by GPS.

GPS drift does cause little single row strips sometimes and they do look awful, because they usually get left until the next growing season.

  • Just saw an ad during the nationally televised Lakers-Suns game on ESPN with the exact same message.

"Your neighbors, family, co-workers can look up if you voted"

Paid for by future forward, which I looked up and it's funded by Bloomberg, and run by "Moneyball style" quants

  • I don't get why a 70/30 projection for Clinton should have humiliated him? He was more skeptical of Hillary than a lot of mainstream media. What should humiliate him are his dogshit analysis of political strategy and COVID stuff, not his projections

  • Yeah there is levels to clean rooms, something like ISO 9 are basically just a well filtered work area whereas something like a semiconductor clean room is an absolute feat of engineering, and the complexity ramps up very quickly. Looking at the building construction and HVAC, this is either a very low level clean room or there was a small modular cleanroom elsewhere inside the manufacturing facility.

  • Someone mentioned a father of three becoming a gambling addict. Of course I don't support that, and frankly I expect better of folks here than to jump into arguments like that. In that particular case I want the state to intervene for child endangerment leaning towards child abuse.

Just want to point out that you don't want the state to have power over you by banning your gambling treats, but you are fine with the state having the power to take away the children of gambling addicts.

  • Get a canister with bags, bagless vacuums spread fine dust everywhere because their cheap undersized filters leak. From previous research the eureka mighty mite is the most recommended cheap vacuum on reddit if you're in North America. If you have wall to wall carpet you may want something more powerful, but you at least will want a turbo brush head (where the vacuum power runs the brush head instead of a separate motor). If you only have hard floors the standard heads are fine.

I went the bifl route and ended up with a Henry due to it's modular repairable/rugged design and good air filtration system.

  • Same vibes here. I actually started having issues with my TV gaming PC where it would crash under load so started using moonlight/sunshine to stream over my LAN. The results were so much better than expected that I bought a cheap tablet off aliexperess that I use to game around the house and my backyard like a giant switch/deck, is great.

  • Can't speak to Australia but here in

the indigenous people only have "equal rights" (in reality they don't as they are still victims of genocide) because after multiple centuries of genocide they still persisted, and their militancy demanded full rights. They in no way had equal rights for the entirety of the colonial project, they couldn't even vote until the 60s, hundreds of years after the genocide began. I don't think this is anything worth bragging about, we are just at a later stage of the genocidal project than

  • My vibes based science says I think I'd get an extra AC instead of a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier will add extra heat into the living space, making the single AC work harder. The extra AC would cool more and dehumidify.
