Just finished putting together one of those Kmart trolleys.
I feel like I've been stomped on by a troupe of tapdancers.
Been wiped the last couple of days even though work was relatively easy. Trying to get the energy up to do more sorting and tidying. It doesn't help that the cats seem to have missed me and have been demanding snuggles.
Had a new client assigned yesterday and one shift proved it wasn't going to fly.
The co-ordinator was so quick to agree that I shouldn't go again (and wanting to know what happened in detail) that I suspect this isn't their first rodeo with her.
As I said to a friend, I'm too old and not getting paid enough to deal with that BS.
Still got a lot of stuff piled around in boxes and was too tired to tackle it last weekend, so I will resist the lure of the beach and work on it today.
I'm trying to get the will to get out of bed and get ready for bed. 🤪
Grateful for this lovely weather - drive to client's was much more pleasant and took ten minutes less
Am at the Wednesday client. The dog is practically climbing the couch waiting for the dog walker. 😄

Feeling supremely unmotivated after this morning's early activities, not helped by both Zooki and Sammi pinning me to the couch. Did manage to get a load of washing on though.
Doctor ordered the routine blood tests and the closest place was still the Highett place, so drove up and am sitting in a cafe in Cheltenham waiting on my breakfast. Charman Rd carpark is already filling. (Locals will understand.)
Have to make A Phone Call. Wish me luck...
Update: phone call made. Case manager was understanding and took me off Difficult Client's schedule. Also it transpired that the system -at least the scheduling system - hadn't been updated and was showing me still in Cheltenham.
