They did! The cardboard was usually white or blue with the artwork on it if my memory serves.
When I was a child, there was a series of books that took classics and gave them a similar treatment. Every other page had an illustration while the "novel" had short sentence summaries. You could read Frankenstein or Huck Finn within an hour if not just minutes. I read dozens of these as a kid. I'm sure I still have them in storage somewhere. I guarantee that they eviscerated any sense of nuance and wordsmithing for a truncated, hollow experience. Reading comprehension is already suffering. "Services" like these do nothing but hasten the death knell.
Assassin's Creed went from being one of my favorite franchises to what felt like a generic action rpg. I still disagree with how they dealt with Desmond. As long as they keep including a level and tier system for gear and etc, it's not Assassin's Creed.
I would be one of them if I could find a trusted source for mushrooms.
Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. And that's the plan.
It should have been Bernie Sanders. Hillary lost to Trump in every poll, simulation, test, mock up, etc. Bernie Didn't.
The key word is functional. Make it physically/mechanically incapable of firing. I've been in stage productions that used non-functioning firearms working on my undergrad. They were still locked away. The professor who was the technical director and armorer was the only one who had a key to that safe. They handed it to the props master who handed it to the actor. When the prop wasn't in use during the run, the props master had it on their person. When the performance was over, it immediately when back into the safe and locked away. If it is absolutely necessary for it to function then only blanks and only in use when needed. Not using it to play a prank. Not using it to fire rounds after the shoot is over. Baldwin and the armorer are absolutely at fault here for failing to maintain safety protocols.
Most people at least in the South just say, "Turn on the air," when talking about the AC.
Imagine that mission in the original Modern Warfare 2 but making that feeling last the entire game. 10/10 won't be playing again any time soon.
I liked the series but I lost a lot of interest when the mechsuits were introduced.
Grape compote or coulis reduction. Not relish.
Bunch of y'all didn't watch TV with the captions on or movies with subtitles.
Defunctland has some of the best researched stuff I've seen. His dive into the Disney Channel Theme is absolutely incredible.
Sweetdisk is the Strange planet name for cookie
What about Panera's Deadly Lemonade?
The locals just call it The Shack and it might just be a dirty tourist trap but damn if their wings don't slap and it has the cheapest and coldest beer on the beach.
