Actually I assume the second Chinese CPUs and GPUs become a competitive threat to Intel and AMD, they will be tariffed to hell. But unlike Chinese EVs, gamers would largely know what they're missing out on, as benchmarks are easy to share. I wonder how they'll handle knowing they can't max their framerates due to huge tariffs or maybe even complete bans 🤔
Gamer discourse will only get more confused and contradictory as China inevitably begins dominating the video games industry. Even if, hypothetically, none of their games ever reach mass appeal in the west, it's only a matter of time before the best available hardware is Chinese.

Battlefield 1942 was the first FPS I got really into. Its first expansion, Road to Rome, was meh, but the second expansion, Secret Weapons of WWII, added some really unique and exciting weapons and vehicles. I especially loved flying the Goblin and the HO-229 around harassing infantry and light armor.

Also, a cursory Google search leads me to believe that the Model 3 has no dedicated battery warmer that could be used for this very situation, but instead some system that "runs the motor inefficiently to heat up the battery". Doesn't sound like this can work when the car is stationary, I guess tesla engineers forgot about the Midwest when cutting parts to save on production costs !michael-laugh
