Well that part I’m aware of, but that’s more of a slogan rather than a vision. It doesn’t tell what has gone wrong with America and how to fix it. Trump says a lot of things that sometimes contradict each other or may or may not be taken seriously, so it’s difficult to piece together a concrete vision.
They have a concept of a vision so to say.
Do they have a vision? The scary thing about Trump that it’s uncertain what he will do the next 4 years. Will he undo democracy or keep it? Will he continue to support Ukraine or not? Will he leave NATO or not? Will he impose those tariffs or not? Will he apply project 2025 or not? Will he impose a federal abortion ban or not?
Kamala had a clear but boring vision: 4 more years of the current status quo. Nothing new will happen.
It’s like some kind of reverse Poe’s law, when the sarcasm of the outrageous minded is indistinguishable from a sane opinion.
Also Godwin’s law.
It’s a small price to pay to keep pronouns away from our games.
Python is truly a mess when Docker is considered a solution.
Nothing comes close to Perl’s abuse of global variables. Oh you called this function? Take a guess which global variables it will use.
Unfortunately it’s the exciting politics that gets all the attention. Democrats likely lost because they’re just too boring.
Are people forgetting his Dijon Mustard scandal? Unforgivable.
Maybe you’re right that many are truly apathetic about the situation. For me as a non American it’s just baffling that so many don’t use their privilege to vote. The default attitude should be to vote unless you truly feel your vote doesn’t matter.
It’s also difficult for me to grasp that, when given the option between a party whose policy is to defend the current status quo, and a party whose policy is fascism, the attitude is “meh, whatever”. Most people should have an opinion regarding this.
Not all elections need to be about new exciting changes. Boring is also an option.
Or maybe status quo is so bad people don’t care if it’s replaced by fascism. If that’s the case, then I agree it’s fully DNCs responsibility for the failure.
That’s like the same energy of
“Do you want pizza or lasagna?”
“I don’t care. Pick whatever”
“Ok I got lasagna for you then”
“No I don’t want lasagna. I want pizza! Why didn’t you try harder to make me choose pizza?”
American people are responsible for voting for Trump. Not the Democratic Party.
It’s the people’s responsibility to go out and vote. It doesn’t take much time to look up each candidate. If you have the slightest preference for one candidate, then go out and vote! No need to be glued at politics to do this.
If you don’t want to take this responsibility, fine, but then don’t complain that you don’t like the result.
Don’t worry, they will find a way to blame Obama
If you choose not to vote and you’re not happy about the election outcome, well that’s your choice.
I don’t trust you. There must be some hidden meaning.
Hungary doesn’t exist
That’s how it is in Sweden as well. There’s this far right nationalist party, which is a concern, but at least they don’t seem to be super concerned with LGBTQ+ (yet).
I love it!
I consider it to be the best “detective” game ever made. Other detective games, like Phoenix Wright, can easily be brute forced. Just exhaust all dialogue options, and in the case of game over, just repeat all the correct answers until you’re back on track.
The system where correct answers are revealed after five correct guesses is genius. It discourages brute forcing, while maintaining a short feedback loop so the player knows they’re making progress. I wish more games continued on this idea.
Only thing I don’t like about it is that I can only play it for the first time once. It has almost no replay value.
70s and 80s had the threat of Cold War.
Matrix was right that 90s was peak.
He’s pro-Russia. When he takes office, it won’t be long until Ukraine loses. It sends a signal to Russia that they can occupy any land they want.
He doesn’t believe in climate change. I’m afraid we can’t afford another 4 years of inaction. Those storms in southern US and the current flooding in Spain? Get used to it. It’s going to be even more frequent.
As a Swede this is not the news I wanted to wake up to. Let’s just pray Trump is going to spend all these four years on the golf course as much as possible.
