Pixel 8 leak promises 7 years of OS updates—even more than an iPhone
  • My phone came with a11 and is now on 13. I would have loved to stay on 11. Every update seems to take more things away than add any features I would actually use. An example is a12 making it so certain links can only be opened by default by "trusted" apps, Youtube for one. I've found workarounds but it's still annoying.

  • Finally migrated back to Firefox today after a multi year user of Chrome.
  • For me, it not only reloads every time, but it reloads from cache, meaning I have to manually reload again to get the latest version of the page I was on. And the first reload from cache is slower, not sure how that makes sense.

  • Latency just still isn't there unfortunately
  • I bought headphones with aptxLL, only to find out that newer Qualcomm chipsets have depricared it in favor of aptx adaptive. It's not backward compatible and at the time there wasn't a single adaptive set of headphones on the market. I would either have to buy a >4 year old phone or get a new pair of overpriced headphones to use it now.
