I think subtags would be a great idea. I don't have any tag name suggestions though, cause honestly I'd be fine with the ones you listed here.
I tried thinking about something to replace Cult, but I think that might be the best term. That's a term that could apply to LotR and Star Wars, but also TV shows that aren't anime like how I posted that Ben 10 one not too long ago.
It was building up for me progressively over the years to leave reddit. I didn't leave during the API because I was happy to donate to the app I used to keep it a float (and the developer made it pretty cheap). But after the past 2 years of watching comments on the bulk of reddit just get worse and worse, from the same repeated comment or joke over and over, to just the most asinine takes in the weirdest places; seeing Elon start to make moves to acquire reddit made me jump ship that instant.
I'm still kinda lost on the whole "federated" thing, but so far I've enjoyed my time here. I like how it feels a bit more like a community and things I post actually mean something.
Since they like Stardew, I would recommend Coral Island! It's like Stardew but Mermaid themed. And I believe they're working on a co-op mode for it too!
"Did you try turning yourself off and on again?"
"Yeah, but now I've got post-nut clarity and I'm just sad"
