they're presenting the candidates differently, sure, but i honestly don't know who you think this is favouring.
this might be the least earned accusation of weirdness i've ever received.
i read the whole article and still have no idea what this has to do with furries.
i don't see how that is ironic?
nobody should be in a tipped position as anything, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't tip when you know people depend on it to put food on their own table. if i can't afford to tip, i don't eat out. simple as.
i can hate my boss, and the whole system he's a symptom of, and be disappointed at the customers for not showing a bit of solidarity, don't worry.
at the restaurant i work at, we pool tips, and just cause you aren't eating in doesn't mean us in the kitchen worked any less hard on it. in fact, it's more work for me to do to-go orders, but folks seldom tip on them. it is very frustrating to me. had somebody place a $1200 order a couple weeks back, and even split 5 ways, a 15% tip on that order alone would've made it a good day, but i don't think they tipped a single cent.
i switched to linux exclusively i think in 2011. currently using mx linux on my desktop.
and the sistine chapel was painted by ancient mayan time travelers
i have never seen anyone argue that the colosseum was built by extraterrestrials.
i suspect this image is actually not ai generated
i can't believe i just watched that whole thing. it was spellbinding, start to finish.
not quite. if you were counting the black triangles in the previous iteration, then this should be three times as many triangles, minus three. each of the previous iteration has those two big black triangles in the corner, but when you assemble them together, they merge into the two big corner triangles and the central triangle.
i thought that was the funny here. is that not the joke?
if all you have is a pdf, it very likely will not convert nicely to epub without some work on your end. if you're just trying to view a textual document, like a novel or something, the big advantage of an epub is that it'll reflow to fit your screen. you can change the font size or style, margins, line spacing, whatever, and its like the book was just printed that way, and you can flip pages naturally. if your pdf has a small font, you've got to scroll and zoom and it is a big pain in the butt. pdfs are designed for printing first and foremost, while epubs are meant to be read digitally.
does that kind of a fine, after delaying payment for 7 years, even matter to a giant like google?
The software was used as evidence that employees stole money
>For the past 20 years UK Post Office employees have been dealing with a piece of software called Horizon, which had a fatal flaw: bugs that made it look like employees stole tens of thousands of British pounds. This led to some local postmasters being convicted of crimes, even being sent to prison, because the Post Office doggedly insisted the software could be trusted. After fighting for decades, 39 people are finally having their convictions overturned, after what is reportedly the largest miscarriage of justice that the UK has ever seen.
