Do literally ALL Ukrainian soldiers wear fascist imagery?
  • I’m not saying it doesn’t exist. I’m saying it’s probably over reported on. It doesn’t help that one of Russias main premises for invading is de nazification. Every report and image that can’t be traced back to it original source and tied to the Ukrainian military should be viewed skeptically as possible propaganda.

The amount of brigading and vitriol seen in this community is probably pro Russian agents.

  • See my point about media propagating controversial images. No one retweets images of soldiers standing around unless there is something to be outraged about. Social media is just media where the editor is the company and masses feeding off each other to display more ads.

  • Read my reply many of those patches share an eagle as symbolism but last I checked the Ukrainian trident wasn’t nazi.

If eagles are nazi symbols then I must have gotten some of those bad textbooks in school.

  • Please produce one of those pictures.

How do you think it will be bad? They are having a hard time fighting the Russians who are using barely trained conscripts and equipment pulled from museums.

The most advanced things on that battle field are consumer drones and weapon systems that are parts and consumables reliant from western countries.

  • Do literally ALL Ukrainian soldiers wear fascist imagery?
  • There are a few things going on.

    • media promotes controversial material.
    • there are a few bad apples like everywhere.
    • some of those patches are close but not actually nazi I have seen the iron eagle carrying the trident of Ukraine a lot.

I have asked a few people I know who are there about some of the questionable patches and the general response can be summed up as “we are killing each other as fast as possible and your worried about a patch?”
