By the way why are people able to do that? I see that person's username is mojo by hovering over it but at a glance it's just emojis.
I'm interested in something similar. I want a bot that reposts the top 3 daily posts from my favorite subreddits to their Lemmy equivalent. I don't want to flood the Lemmy communities but I think we can all admit most of them could use more activity.
Example: !whowouldwin@lemmy.world has received 3 posts ever as opposed to /r/whowouldwin/ which has over 400,000 subscribers and receives dozens of unique posts every day.
Nice, so there is a quick user fix available. I understand it's low priority. I mistakingly got the impression that it wasn't being worked on because it doesn't actually affect thing.
Just for perspective though, it is confusing for inexperienced users (me at least) who are already confused by Federation and all that stuff. I wasn't sure if I signed up with a blocked community or wasn't meeting a subscription criteria.
Is there any way to fix it? Leaving in functional glitches and clear lack of polish doesn't seem like a great idea.
It seems to be in error because I've seen posts show up and I just made this post obviously.
