    • Japan.
    • JPY 980 per month.
    • Plan includes up to 3GB per month 4g/5g data, and when going over 3GB, the data cap increases to 20GB for an additional JPY 1000. Unlimited voice and text, global roaming to 90 countries included.

Still don't get bars inside some big buildings though :p

  • Feels like pressure.

At times it's just a barely noticeable background level of weight, like sure I can handle this, no big deal. At other times, it feels like a crushing weight, painful, can barely even sleep, and all I can do is seek some kind of gender affirming euphoria to feel some relief.

Tonight is one of the latter, after feeling like I clothed myself in lies and had to perform all day, the pressure is unbearable. Looking forward to an evening of painting nails, makeup and spinny skirt.

  • Would highly recommend joining a community garden to anyone. I was a total beginner, paid 30 bucks for my yearly plot. There were always people who were willing to give advice, water the plot while I was away, or people even gifted transplants of new veggies I'd never tried. Learned so much from experienced gardeners, got free mulch and fertilizer and there was even a community barbecue. 11/10 experience.

  • I've been struggling with the same kind of themes and wanted to share my experience.

Dreams have been bittersweet. On one hand dreams feel light as air and carefree to see myself as femme. On the other hand waking up puts me in a bad dysphoric mood the whole day.

Not woman enough. I've been taking a guerrilla war approach to this one because trying to do it all at once is overwhelming, and the key has been celebrating small victories. Laser hair removal takes time, but every little bit is an incremental victory. My nail painting skills are still trash, but as a result of getting some proper tools and cuticle oil I'm taking better care of them they are stronger and healthier. This theme also reminds me of the pressure others put on us to "prove it," and that we put on ourselves to conform to some type of gender ideal. See The Null HypotheCis for more.

Too late. Yes it would have been nice to figure this out years ago. But wouldn't it be better to live authentically, given that Now is all we have?

And... I love your username. Toughest Starfleet captain, model main character, and a picture of femininity.

  • Same. Joined at the Digg migration. Left at the 3rd party App-ocolypse. Reddit is dead. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say that it's a zombie: with more bots than actual human users, it's the Dead Internet Theory in action.

  • Spent about the past 2 months going, uh this egg isn't broken, it's uh... Meanwhile getting yolk and broken shell all over. Coming out of the shell is not a linear process.

On the plus side, I went to Pride House for the first time and met some cool and kind folks. It was nice to be Out for the first time.

  • Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Generally well liked by audiences, D&D nerds and film buffs. I watched it and enjoyed it. Some highlights:

    • Good storyline with consistent characters and a well paced plot. Good acting and notable names in the cast with some newer talent too.
    • Creators clearly loved their source material. Lots of world building detail if you're into that. Good mix of both practical effects and special effects. The Paladin's intro and the Jarnathan scene are good examples of practical effects side, and the dragon and spell casting are good examples of SFX.
    • From the D&D side, you get the feel of "just a bunch of friends getting together for a tabletop adventure." They ham up the comedy a bit. The Paladin is like a player or DMPC that joins for one session and then peaces out. Apparently even the events of the combat sequences go in initiative order.

    Fun movie, would recommend.

  • My advice is not financial but rather about relationships:

    • Money and finances are one of the top things couples fight about.
    • Psychologists have observed that couples have the same disagreements (or fights) over the long term course of a relationship, and these can be used as touchpoints to assess the couple's emotional maturity and overall relationship health.
    • So, whatever financial arrangement you agree upon, commit to it in a way that actively reinforces the importance of the relationship, fosters open communication, and strengthens your bond with one another.
