  • I remember when he edited a bunch of comments (in a subreddit that memed and normalized Tr**p of all things) that were all dunking on him to make it look like they were actually dunking on the moderators instead. Spez wrote the "incel neckbeard mod" playbook & keeps finding new things to add.

I don't care how big of a stan he claims to be for net neutrality, because he only applies that energy towards his own selfish wants for his capitalist endeavours. When net neutrality was supposedly actually "killed" in 2017 I don't recall him doing that much to spearhead any resistance en masse & the majority end-user response felt especially lackluster. It's an armchair lodge.

  • Not at all. I'm just scratching the surface because I don't want to depress myself today.

  • Reminder: the CEO of Reddit is a gooey insufferable alt-right jackass and, from what a friend told me, they're flirting with the idea of instituting paywalls for engaging in certain subreddits. I told that friend to come here and be done with it.

  • Lord only knows where my poor soul will have been, if I don't once & for all flick that bean

  • Sabu, like most of his ECW contemporaries, was a product of the hard & edgy 90s pop culture that championed misogyny, racism & homophobia, just as much as non-mainstream wrestling championed good in-ring work over vapid promo-thons. I'll never forget when he got banned from pre-musk Twitter for a massive bigot rant he went on & everyone only paid attention for like two seconds lol.

I recognize the man's influence in the biz, but I haven't forgotten who he & his old war buddies let themselves be in life, & I offer no condolences as a result. There are way worse people in wrestling than him tho, all or most of whom are still living, & might not even be ECW alumni.

  • Do I really need to say "they've never heard of al-Ma'arri" again?
