AI is actively engaging with you in ways that is indistinguishable from talking to a real person. It'll tell you how to spend your life savings, tell who you should marry, or give medical advice. And it can be persuasive and even manipulative.
And yeah the social media effect on society has been catastrophic, especially in the US. AI will be even worse.

The fact that so many lawyers are pulling this shit should have people terrified about how much AI generated documents are making it into the record without being noticed.
It's probably a matter of time before one these non-existent cases results in decisions that will cause serious harm.
And? Are those people's wishes keeping the legalese solution from working? Is their negativity harshing the vibes of Judges?
Been hearing this shit for years. The Ukraine call, stealing classified documents, the election interference, the insurrection. When they finally got a conviction the judge wasn't even allowed to punish Trump.
So this is time they're serious? Yeah I'll believe it when I see it.
