  • In Mazatlan, Mexico, a beach in the mexican northern pacific, when it's rainy, we eat a sort of thin pancakes, a bit thicker than a crepe, called kekis, a short term for pancakes, that instead of being presented as a normal pancake, they are rolled like a burrito. We put some honey, maple syrup, or plenty of sugar on top.

  • Well, being myself Mexican, and this incident happening in Mexico, we as a country and as population are totally uneducated in wild life matters, so I can almost assure you that this type of incidents surely happen quite frequently, so that's why I think the bear is so chill eating besides humans.

Why I Still Love San Francisco, Despite Recent Headlines

Foggy evenings and buzzy restaurants remind AFAR’s CEO and cofounder of the city's charms.

Why I Still Love San Francisco, Despite Recent Headlines

    > Yes, some sad things have happened in San Francisco. The number of unhoused people has grown significantly since 2019. There are too many people doing drugs on the streets—and dying from fentanyl. There is too much crime. And, finally, the remote work phenomenon that started with the pandemic has hit San Francisco probably harder than anywhere, resulting in a downtown that can feel like a ghost town in parts.

Will our own elites perform any better than the rulers of Chaco Canyon, the Mayan heartland, and Viking Greenland?

We Are Witnessing the First Stages of Civilization’s Collapse

    > When and how we might slip over the brink into catastrophe is impossible to foresee. But as the events of this summer suggest, we are already all too close to the edge of the kind of systemic failure experienced so many centuries ago by the Mayans, the ancient Puebloans, and the Viking Greenlanders. The only difference is that we may have no place else to go. Call it, if you want, Collapse 2.0.

Request: Exclusive font size setting for comments

Yes, I know there's the Base font setting, but that affects everything. For example: If I set base font setting to medium (which I think is the sweet spot for comments), my posts feed gets huge, so now I have to lower Title font size in View type to Medium. You get it? Why not an exclusive font size setting for comments?

EDIT: I already see there's a setting for that. Sorry for this post.
