I believe this is distinctly different. Fedora Silverblue allows you to install packages through rpm-ostree. The idea Adrian presents is that this overlay system is a band-aid for issues in an immutable operating system.

As an admin who manages windows devices, it’s not only a pain for the end users. I will readily admit that the management tools are quite extensive and somewhat easy to use, but they’re damn near impossible to debug when they don’t work, and that’s quite often. Yep, Miniflux syncs starred/read/unread articles as well, I sync it with NetNewsWire on my iPhone and it supports all the same features.

I might actually do what you’ve done with rsync but for Pipeline. AFAIK it doesn’t have any native sync support.

I’ve been using pipeline on my Linux phone, works well. Though make sure to change the server to something other than the default because for whatever reason it doesn’t have thumbnails.
