When I was 17 my father brought back a stereo from Japan. I was too eager to use it and plugged that directly to 220. It worked for a glorious 2 minutes. We got it working again after we replaced the transformer. Still have it and it still works fine to this day. Learned a lesson too!

Yeah I especially love that one everytime I fly. I get to choose the environmentally friendly option with lower carbon footprint for more money. Who the fuck they think they are kidding? We are all in the same plane burning fuel at 10000 m.

Not sure where he is going with that. My only gripe with dark mode is that the equation editor font is also black so it is impossible to see what you are writing. I am sure a fix is around the corner

How many terabytes are we talking here? I have about 20tb free at the moment. And I could probably add more if I need. I feel like this should be a real concern for people.

I don't mind paying for good software on Linux. I don't understand this idea that everything Linux should be free.

Why go to the doctors then? Just take whatever pink medicine your best friend/shaman/faith healer recommends and accept your fate. Why after choosing your medication and you and yours get fucked up, you rush to the hospital?
